Sustainability
t Terra Minoika, sustainability is part of who we are. The resort was built with local stone, blending naturally into the protected landscape of Kato Zakros. Many decorative details are restored heirlooms or artworks from recycled materials, combining tradition with creativity.
We reduce waste through recycling and limiting plastic and single-use products. Our organic gardens provide much of what you enjoy at breakfast—herbs, olive oil, fruits, and vegetables—while the rest comes from local producers of the Zakros and Sitia Geopark. Inspired by the slow food philosophy, we focus on fresh, natural, and wholesome food.
